The year of 2015 has been announced the year of Russian Literature.

For pure lovers of books and reading there are going to take place such most interesting events as International writer’s forum “Literary Eurasia”, project “Literary Map of Russia”, “Library Night 2015”, pilot project “World Day of Book”, contest “Literary Capital of Russia”, creative meetings of writers and readers in libraries and book shops of Moscow and regions of Russia. There are also going to be organized conferences “Digital Century of Culture”, “Crimea 2015”, “LIBCOM 2015”, “Rumiantsevsky Readings 2015”, etc.

A lot of the above mentioned events will be broadcast directly on the official website of the Russian Association of Digital Libraries (www.aselibrary.ru), where users will also find photo and video materials afterwards.

In our electronic century people would prefer ebooks rather than their paper analogues, still really great is the fact that Russia remains the nation of book lovers and preserves its first place among other nations fond of reading.
