More26 May 2015 the Open Door Day at the RSL
26 May 2015 the Russian State Library hosted open Door Day. As it had been expected, the point of a special attention turned out to be National Digital Library. Then, attendees of the Open Door events got consultations of highly qualified specialists on a broad circle of issues concerning library work. For the participants there were organized excursions to the Pashkov House, Book Museum, Main Storage Building where they were offered the latest products of the Pashkov Dom publishing house, journals edited at the RSL and other organizations.

In Russia the year of 2015 has been announced the year of Russian literature. This year there are going to take place such most interesting events as International writers forum Literary Eurasia, project Literary Map of Russia, Library Night 2015, contest Literary Capital of Russia, conferences Digital Century of Culture, Crimea 2015, LIBCOM 2015, Rumiantsevsky Readings 2015, etc.

29 September 3 October 2014 the city of Sochi hosted the 13th International research and practical conference Digital Century of Culture devoted to modern ways of preservation of cultural heritage of Russia and concept of informatization in such establishments of culture as libraries, museums, archives, higher education institutions, etc. The conference was traditionally organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Library and the Russian Association of Digital Libraries.
