Conferences “Digital Century of Culture” and “EVA 2013 Moscow” 22.11.2013
19–22 November 2013, the Russian State Library (Moscow, the Russian Federation) hosted two research and practical conferences at a time. They were the 12th International research and practical conference "Digital century of culture" and 15th Annual international conference "EVA 2013 — Moscow, Information society, culture, education".
 

12th International research and practical conference
"Digital Century of Culture"
The conference was held 22 November, 2013.

The main organizers of the conference were:
– Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation,
– Russian State Library,
– Russian Association of Digital Libraries
(NPP "ELBI").

Again and again, the conference of  the year of 2013 gathered heads and staff of largest institutions of culture; representatives of business structures cooperating with institutions of culture; scientists and teachers of higher education institutions; specialists of the spheres of museum work, information systems and technologies.
The directions of priority of the International research and practical conference “Digital Century of Culture” were the traditional ones: discussing directions of informatization for institutions of culture (libraries, museums, theatres, educational institutions, etc.) and searching for practical solutions of the related problems; getting acquainted with the latest achievements in the sphere of computering and information technologies (creation of electronic resources and digital libraries, information search and storage).
