Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Library and the National Library of Russia held the Annual Caucus of Heads of Federal and Central Regional Libraries of Russia. The meetings were organized 28–29 November, 2023, in Moscow in a hybrid format. The theme of the sessions was “Creating successful future for libraries in collaboration – developing branch projects, cooperation and integration, and exchanging best practices”.

Speeches and discussions of the event were all focused on the general matters of library life, that including problems of acquisition, personnel policy and professional training, as well as issues of work with users and principal aspects of inter-departmental cooperation. There were also dealt with such specific sides of library life of nowadays as digitalization, research work in libraries and peculiarities of integration of libraries of the new territories of Russia into its common library environment.
