9 July, 2024, there was held a regular webinar devoted to work with rare and valuable books under the “Culture” national project. Tatyana N. Sidorova, head of the Department of registration and digitisation of rare and valuable books of the “Rare and Valuable Books” project office of the Russian State Library, and its specialist Olga V. Smelova, together with Elina B. Seleznyova, editor in chief of the “Rare and Valuable Books of the National Electronic Library” website, spoke about the first and second stages of the project of 2024. They provided the latest statistics and also reminded about the necessity to keep to the project timetable. Besides, there was given detailed information on the very procedure of digitisation of physical items and there were specified certain peculiarities of the process of transmitting digital copies by participant organisations.
