November 4–6, 2024, in Minsk there took place 24^th International Research and Practical Conference “Management of University Libraries” organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of Belarus, Belarusian State University Fundamental Library, library of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, library of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts together with Belarusian Library Association on the premises of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University and Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. The theme of the conference events was “Mission of the Modern Library in the Context of Transformation of Education”.

Over 200 experts from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and China were discussing a wide scope of matters related to library and information basis for higher education, advantages and risks of AI usage in the sphere, staff issues and general role of libraries in educational processes carried out at diverse establishments of the 21^st century. As it had been planned, president of the “Antiplagiat” company Y. Chekhovich presented his speech “AI Detector and Duplicate Detector” reporting the novelties of the company developed as a step of the complex of measures supporting research and promoting academic honesty.

Four sessions, master classes and tutorials, discussion panels and meetings with professionals of highest levels – all those were not the only things the conference excelled the events of the same rank for its attendees.
