November, 17-22, 2024, in Suzdal there is taking place 28^th international conference and exhibition “LIBCOM-2024. Information technologies, computer systems and publishing productions for libraries” organized by the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology and International Association of Users and Developers of Digital Libraries and New Information Technologies under the support of the Russian State Library, Russian Centre of Scientific Information, National Library Association “Libraries of the Future” and Moscow State Institute of Culture.

The attendees of the conference are going to consider problems and prospects of the national science and education in Russia, general trends of the development of publishing business, matters of interrelations of libraries and publishing houses, acquisition of library collection items in the digital era and enhancement of library online services, as well as AI in the library and information community.

Upon the results of the LIBCOM events there is planned to be published the collecion of theses, which is going to be made available in open access on the elibrary of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology and eLIBRARY.RU portal. Furhermore, it'll be indexed in the RSCI database of scientific quoting and the Crossref international system of bibliography links.
