The 8th Research and practical conference of the Russian Association of Digital Libraries 22.03.2013
 
20th March 2013 the Russian State Library hosted the eighth Research and practical conference of the Russian Association of Digital Libraries (NPP ELBI).

The main theme of the conference was "Digital Public Libraries and State" (connected with the RF President’s decree “The events aimed at the realization of national social policy” clause “n” dated 7th May 2012).

The Conference gathered librarians, specialists of the spheres of new information technologies, Copyright, software developers and professionals realizing format support for digital libraries; linguists, publishers, aggregators of digital information resources, creators and owners of digital libraries and collections, heads of libraries of higher education institutions, as well as representatives of governmental structures and regional authorities.

There were presented 17 speeches.
