MoreOpening VRR DDL RSL at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan
14 December 2010 in the city of Astana there took place the ceremony of opening a Virtual Reading Room of the Digital Dissertation Library of the Russian State Library. The event was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan under project Virtual Reading Rooms of the Digital Dissertation Library of the Russian State Library in national libraries and libraries of leading higher education institutions of the CIS countries within the framework of the mega project Vault of Commonwealth: Libraries.

27 October 2010 in the city of Tashkent of the Republic of Uzbekistan there was started the 6th International conference Information and Library Resources in Science, Education, Culture and Business Central Asia 2010. 27 28 October 2010 there took place official openings of Virtual Reading Rooms of the Digital Dissertation Library of the Russian State Library at the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoiy and at the Library of the Urgench State University named after Al-Khoresmy, which were both realized due to the cooperation of the RSL and the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation.
